The room was clean and comfy. Staff was nice and accommodating. The daily breakfast was good, and they had complimentary lemon water, snacks ( cookies, muffins, brownies) available in the lobby. The pipes in the room were loud you can hear water flowing through the pipes all night if someone was taking a shower. The wall are very thin. I could hear the phone coversation of the person in the next room clearly. And the noise from the road was very noisy whether is was construction or street cleaning.

Great location!
We came to visit USA side of Niagara Falls and had a nice stay at The Giacomo. Great location for walking to casino and American Falls.

The Giacomo is great in theory, but the reality is quite disappointing. The rooms are old charm with modern upgrades (bathrooms, Keurig). Most staff are slothful. Front desk girl knew I was there for check in but ignored me. I said “hello” a few times but to no avail. I finally realized there was a bell so rang it and she finally came out. Then she mis-charged the amount due and ended up calling the room to say “come down and pay”, which was annoying but things happen. The breakfast crew looked as though they had an aversion to smiling. When I said good morning, thank you, or just smiled at staff they just gave me a weird blank stare. The bartender was even rude and lazy. She didn’t even acknowledge us when we came in, sitting on a chair watching TV, ignoring us. Then when she realized we were buying drinks she pepped up pretty fast. The only friendly employee: the lady who helped me check out- she actually smiled. Parking in is a minor pain. Finding your parking spot is weird since numbered spots aren’t chronological. The cost for this hotel is obscenely overpriced for what you get. At certain points, their lowest cost room (basic bed/TV/bathroom) was $603! We ended up spending $335 which I’ll kick myself for until the memory hopefully slips from my mind permanently. Also, staff let random homeless people sleep in the lounge. So if you value safety, the money you work hard for, and politeness, stay somewhere else.

Great location
Great location for accessing all the tourist sites. US side of Niagara very quiet at night with limited dining options. Nice to see fireworks and view from top floor sky lounge.

Property was fine for a stop over but parts are looking a little tired now. The air con unit was quite noisy throughout the night and TV reception was poor, frequently buffering. Breakfast was not inspiring but staff and food were perfectly acceptable and the hotel has made a significant effort with extras ie coffee, water etc The area on the USA side was very quiet, almost like a ghost town (September)

The manager and staff were very kind and professional. I definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Niagara Falls. We could see Canada and the beautiful fireworks from our room. It was awesome.

We found bed bugs in our room and alerted the front desk. We were assured that our stay would be taken care of and they moved us to a new room. No manager has reached out not has the stay been taken care of as promised . Do not stay here

Hotel was very old. Dark. Dated. No parking at hotel. You have to park your car across the street in a gated parking lot. No access for dropping off luggage in front of hotel. Room was extremely dated and very dark. Inadequate and untrained staff.

This place is in a perfect location. We were able to walk everywhere. This is only 2 short blocks from the park entrance. We walked to rainbow bridge and crossed over to Canada, walked to the top at horseshoe falls. All the attractions are within walking distance. We had lots of options for food and entertainment. You really can't beat this place for location. Daily breakfast was hot and good. My only issue with this property was the bed. It was extremely lumpy. So much so, we had to sleep sideways on it, to get any support.

The hotel was okay. Thought it strange the bar was closed on Saturday night. No warning but went down for after dinner drink and it’s closed. Breakfast was great Saturday but lacking on Sunday. Coffee was out, eggs were out. Disappointing to pay extra for nice hotel only to get mediocre hotel. Room itself was awesome?
