The floor is very noisy. If the people of above room walk heavily, then you can't sleep. Very disturbing. I don't recommend this hotel if you want peaceful environment.

We’re booked 2 room,- 1 was clean, and the other room was not to clean and body wash was finished. Pool wasn’t enough heated. And I would recommend to increase the breakfast meal and taste of the coffee and tea. Other stuffs were good,- easy to walk anywhere because of the great location.

Cable was broken, staff was rude not friendly. Tooth brush was not available, neither was disposable slippers. Parking was extra! The facility was old and not sound proof, you can hear awake people squeaky walking sound on top of ceiling during midnight to dawn! Not worth for money not recommended!

Biggest negative: they removed all carpet in favor of hard surface flooring -- nice looking, but lack of padding makes noise level high between floors -- we heard the thumping of feet overhead, as I'm sure they heard us below. Also, the hardscape floors show every crumb -- making the place less clean -- we could see small clusters of debris in every corner!

I’ll start with the positives - staff were friendly and helpful. The property is in east walking distance to the falls and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Free breakfast included. The negatives I had with my stay - it was incredibly noisy, you can hear every time someone walks past your door. The bed and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. Though my main issue was the door to my room was basically coming off it’s hinges and was challenging to open and close. Admittedly my door issue could have been a one off, but I’m surprised they would use the room when you need to shoulder barge the door to use it.

They do not do housekeeping. Was told only every three days. We were there for 4 days. Had to go down to check in to get towels and coffee. The trash we took to dumpster on way out to sight see. The lamp did not work phone had wrong room number on it and did not work. The one usb outlet was broken. The people next to us door did not lock and the desk person said to just use the safety latch. The doors should lock! If you don’t offer daily house keeping you should make that very clear when someone makes a reservation. The breakfast tables were not being cleaned off, the eggs were powered eggs that were cold. Won’t stay with windgate again! So disappointing.

Not the best as it was noisy in halls and breakfast was so crowded we had no place to sit employee at breakfast was not at all plesant she was huffy with people and seemed unhappy with her job. The room was not as nice as pictured on site it is run down and had holes in the closet door and wall as well. Bathtub was not clean and the shower wall had a dirt smudge on it that was clearly visible very disappointing I am thinking we will steer clear of windam from now on. The trip was not one to brag about here.
