Picked hotel for convenient location to Syracuse campus. Very noisy hotel. Heard dog barking from across the hall most of night. Was loud enough to be heard in lobby. Requested room change, staff stated they could only move room 1 away which did not resolve issue. Could also hear hvac cycle from room next door all night. Beds were stated to be queens but they were full size and hard.

Worst night at a hotel I ever had.
The staff was friendly and the place was clean. It was the 1st time I have been to a hotel and the 2 beds in the room were full size and not queen. So, sleep two people on it was not very comfortable plus my feet hung off the bed. It was only one night so not the end of the world. But the complaint and the reason we will never stay there again. At 1am to 4am there was a very loud most likely drunk man, smoking pot in the hallway keeping me and my family up. He was going in and out the door that led to the lobby (we were on the 1st floor) which make a clanking sound each time. I was not ready to start an altercation with my family in the room and he was talking with someone in the lobby, whether it was the desk clerk I could not tell. If it was then what the heck are these employees doing, if not then why would the clerk not tell him to stop on go to his room. Or call the police! There was no way they would not know the amount of commotion he was causing. It was ridiculous the worst night at a hotel I ever had.

I like the property but was extremely unhappy with the staff. Some do not know how to work under pressure and do not pay attention to details. Came in from working yesterday and obviously someone from housekeeping came in to bring towels and did not close the door all the way. When I came in the door was cracked open. When I checked in on Sunday October 27th it took 40 minutes because the receptionist was having problems and she decided to call and ask for help 40 minutes after the fact.

Great location and very walkable area. The rooms are comfortable. Everything was great about this hotel except for the included breakfast. This was by far the poorest ‘hotel breakfast’ I have had. It’s unfortunate given how nice the hotel is in every other way.

The front staff person was very nice and efficient. About the only good part of the hotel. Smell of smoke towards back of hotel (inside) including elevator. The room looked tired and sad. Old beige, nothing inviting in the room. The headboard was covered in dust. The sheets smelled old/dusty. I woke up with hives. The ac/heater was noisy, old. I stay in hotels regularly and make sure to recommend the ones I like. This will not be the case with this experience. I do hope for improvement as I will be traveling to the area a few times a year but will be looking for a different hotel next time.
