The large windows on two sides of the living area offer sweeping views of the ocean, the island of Molokai, the palm court and the courtyard gardens with their tropical tiki torches. Inside, the décor has a subtle tropical vibe with a dining table that seats four along with a comfy sofa and club chairs, making this an inviting space to gather and socialize. The open-ended lanai is a great place to relax and take in the ocean and Molokai views all day. The bedroom features a Cal King bed. The kitchen is fully equipped for meal preparation and entertaining your guests. There is an in-unit washer & dryer and plenty of storage for your groceries, supplies and gear. Because J201 is an end unit, there is no corridor outside the bedroom and it is located away from the elevator and maintenance and service areas, making it one of quieter Papakea units. J201 features split system air conditioning in both the living and bedroom areas. Reliable Wi-Fi service at 100-200 Mbps is provided in the unit by Spectrum.
Papakea Resort offers lush tropical landscaping, koi pond lagoons, oceanfront saltwater pools, hot tubs, shuffleboards, putting greens, pickleball, and tennis courts! It is located just north of the famous Ka'anapali Beach. Guests can walk to nearby local shops, cafes, food trucks, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is a quick drive to Whalers Village and many of Maui's top beaches like Kaanapali, Napili Bay, and Kapalua Bay.
***Notice of Property-Wide Plumbing Project:
-An extensive property-wide plumbing upgrade is now underway at Papakea and you may hear some noise during the day, as construction proceeds through the different residential buildings.
-Work on J201 will begin October 20, 2025, with estimated completion scheduled on or around March 1, 2026. Reservations will not be accepted during this time.
-Not all units are affected at the same time and at no time is work being performed on the recreational and landscaped components of the property.
-Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, unless authorized for emergency weekend work.
-Contractors will begin quieter preparatory tasks as early as 7:00 AM. Noisier construction tasks usually do not start before 10:00 AM and are completed by 5 p.m., barring unforeseen circumstances.
-Despite the contractor's best efforts to plan, dates are subject to change.
-The overall project is tentatively scheduled for completion in June 2026. Please know that to compensate for any inconvenience caused by the construction, we have decreased rates for those dates which might be affected by the construction, both before and after the blocked-out dates noted above***
*Resort Fee
The Papakea Resort charges a resort fee of $25 per day per condominium which covers guest costs for resort security, access to Wi-Fi and the parking permit for one vehicle. Each additional vehicle will be charged an added fee of $5 a day. This fee is collected by the Front Desk upon arrival and is not associated with My Perfect Stays.
Our unit is professionally managed and maintained by My Perfect Stays, a professional management company located on Maui. With MPS, guests are provided with exceptional service with after-hours emergency dispatchers available to assist when needed. MPS also provides guests with complimentary concierge service by an on-island specialist to assist with activity ideas, tour bookings and restaurant reservations, if needed.

Standard Cancellation Policy:
If cancellation notice is received 30 or more days prior to the check-in date, a 100% refund will be refunded within 5-7 business days from receipt of written cancellation.
If cancellation notice is received at least 14 days prior to the check-in date, 50% of the booking will be refunded within 5-7 business days from receipt of written cancellation.
