The Hotel property, staff, and facilities were amazing! The area surrounding is a little rough though. But still very manageable in terms of if you’re traveling to the surrounding cities. Just take Ubers and Train! Or DoorDash food. Don’t expect to explore by foot a lot in this area. Can tell it is up and coming though and the hotel itself is very safe.

The hotel itself is very nice, new, and clean. The staff are also kind and helpful. But it is across the street from the Queensbridge Projects. The area is better than it used to be, but the F train stop on 21st is in rough shape. Open hard drug use, encampents of unhoused people, malt liquor bottles, etc. Doesn't scream safety, especially for a single woman traveling alone.
