The lobby staff (black male) was so condescending and rude. My door was left open for 10 hours after me and my partner left for the day. I reported it to him and he asked me “what would you like me to do about it. ?? Like excuse me… my safety, my privacy and my trust went straight out the window. Didn’t even offer us a new room because nothing was stolen. Apparently your safety is only looked into if something was stolen. Never even offered another room or an investigation. Koko was really nice and offered some reassurance and was kind enough to calm my nerves. A lot of travellers are dying because of out of service CO detectors and that’s exactly what I thought was going on here. The morning of, we got a paper slipped under the door about someone coming to check the smoke detector and CO and then 10 hours later… we find our door open. It’s been open and left unattended for hours… my stuff was in there and obviously with the news I’m thinking the worst. My gut didn’t feel right and how do I know they didn’t tamper with the CO detector . And how do I know someone didn’t see the door was open and walked straight in. Just unsettling. And that guy was absolutely horrid. Thanks to koko my mind was at ease. Probably won’t be coming back here tho. After the gaslighting and lack of interest in a serious matter… can’t trust this hotel

Clean and the bed was very comfortable. It is interesting to me to put guests in W/C on the 5th floor (that’s where the accessible shower is) because if there was a fire the evacuation route is down 5 flights of stairs. That would be more than impossible for someone in a w/c. Guess they didn’t consider a safety concern.
